Maokong (traditional Chinese: 貓空; pinyin: Māokōng; literally "cat empty") is located in Wenshan District of Taipei. It used to be the biggest tea growing area of Taipei. There are many intertwining footpaths which have been used to transport tea. Now, it's a popular place for tea culture and viewing the night scenery of Taipei city.
The name comes from "jiâu-khang" (皺孔, also similar 皺坑) in Taiwanese, which means "crease aperture" and refers to pothole formations. During Japanese rule it was changed to the similar sounding Maokong (貓空, Taiwanese POJ: niau-khang)


we set off in the early morning and took the MTR (or MRT, watever la) via Muzha Line to Taipei Zoo stn. and chg to a bus.. can u see the road is very narrow...


tis is the cable car stn but not functioning now cos heard there was some techinical fault and the cable car fell down... errrr.... scary.

this is one of the teahouse and of cos they are close. these teahouses only open fm evening til nite for ppl to drink tea while enjoyin the nite view. but of cos we dun hv any nite time to spare.

this 1 is @ Danshui old street. as u can see on the poster, his fav are the wantons and drumstick. i dun tink he charges this restaurant for any ad fee hehe..

wat is Jay Special? haha...since LF is a fans of Jay so we are visiting a restaurant tat is invested by him.

the receipt is actually a plain paper with the amount only.. then i asked the waiter is there any kind of stamp to indicate this restaurant.. then he took out and stamp on the receipt ~ especially for LF to keep as a memorabilia.

so wat am i doing @ a university while on tour. hehe... of cos there's a reason behind. this is the U tat ashin studied last time :p


again, travelling alone is really quite fun. I asked direction @ the mtr stn and took a bus here. but I still need to walk in to the school cos the bus stop is @ main road.


lucky it's sch day and i could go in (posing as student). hahaha...

the archi of this U is very futuristic looking hehe... im not an expert in this field but loves to see nicely designed building

i reached almost to 1pm and many students comin in..so shld be afternoon classes starting soon

i juz walk ard the campus without knowing which is wat....

tis building here is still under construction

to go to the U, just alight @ Yuanshan Mtr Stn.. the bus stop is juz across the road. i found the bus no on the U's website. and i miss the stadium across the road :)

after this i proceed to Murderer premiere and autograph signing.
