新竹一日游

i hv always wanted to take a train journey @ taiwan... so here i am


since i only have less than a day time so i could only choose someware near to go. if not i will choose a route that i could see the real scenery


after almost 2hrs train journey, i finally arrived @ hsinchu
again, very drama... b4 i left for tpe i did some research on hsinchu of places i could go. to north i can go hsinchu harbour; to south i can go to some lake. actually i wanted to go to the lake but i din really print out the map and things. so i thot since this is a tourist spot, i shld be able to find map @ the railway stn


but when i reached hsinchu railway stn, there's only tourist leaflet for hsinchu harbour. so without wasting time asking ard, i head direct to hsinchu harbour via local bus. actually it was very fun tat i travelled alone and ask for my own direction. and taiwanese is really very super friendly, nice and helpful.


when i alight the bus, the bus driver pointed out a 2storeys building which is a market that's sell fresh seafood and have eatery upstairs. so i walked over to hv my lunch; seafood noodles and clams. the seafood is very fresh and the food tastes good as well.

eat full liao so next is the 17km splendid coastline scenic area via cycling hehe...the waitress told me to complete 17km on bicycle would require 4hrs. ahem... ok nvm, i'll just cover a bit ;) then i proceed to a bicycle rental shop and get this bike for NT100

blue sky looks cool rite but it's actually very very hot. and i tink it's too hot tat nobody wan to cycle during summer time and especially noon time. haha, cos when i started cycling it was 12+

really the whole path is near to zero human, only some local passing by on motorbike and gv me a stare... "tis girl muz be siao cycling under the hot sun"

i too bo liao and enjoying the whole path by myself, i decided to take some fun photos

i only cycle until the 3km point and i cant take it anymore. anyway i need to go back to tpe for the Deaflympics Closing ceremony.

so i left hsinchu harbor and head back to hsinchu city and is the same bus driver. hahaha... i asked him to drop me someware near the railway stn which hv something to see see look look. this is hsinchu city hall

im not sure i can go in or not, since there's no1 stopping me so i went in and walk 1 round and took some pics

after tat, i try to find my way to the railway stn and passed by a nice garden in the middle of the city

saw a shop selling fake stay real *angry*

yummy @ taipei ~ 飯糰

last dec, we went to tpe and feel in love with the 飯糰 @ 7-11. when i told *wl* how yummy is the 7-11's , she laughed @ me and tell me to try the real 飯糰. on 9/18 morning, b4 leaving for taipei zoo we were looking ard ximending area for breakfast (oh yeah!) and we found 1 push cart selling food and they hv 飯糰!


glutinous rice with preserved vege, crispy you tiao, pork flosss & egg. this is the real 飯糰!!

again im super outdated.. almost 2 mths im back fm my tpe trip then i started to update in my blog.


9/14 ~ my 3rd trip to tpe and 3rd time taking Jetstar. is ok just luggage weight too strict hehe or i hv too many things to bring back

wow, seeing another plane on air

greeted by many cute Taiwan Deaflympics mascot on arrival. since im travelling on free n easy, there's no airport transfer and i hv to take those airport bus to tpe city and it's quite convenient. heng ar! i know i can survive with my limited chinese characters knowledge! hehehe...

after checked in @ hotel, I meet up with my tpe fren *wl* and we went to see that man's rehearsal for tmr's Deaflympics Games Closing Ceremony. obviously we cannot go in since this is the rehearsal and not the actual event. Im a tourist so i dun care cos no1 knows me there, i go ard and asked those volunteers for their pass and try to 'ha-la' with the security to let us in... and u shld be able to guess ~ failed la.
but i did not gv up, suddenly the gate @ the entrance we were at; opened and the security was busy with other 'passer-by', so i quickly sneaked in. then i try to get to the seating area by getting help fm a volunteer. hahaha.. im a tourist, so i dun care :p

I choose a seat nearest to the stage to chk out the rehearsal which was fun, seeing how they co-ordinate the performance. but abt 30mins later some security found we do not hv pass and kick us out. la la la....

9/15 ~ thk u *wl* and *ac* for getting my tic for the closing ceremony

this closing ceremony is held @ the outdoor stadium beside taipei arena

both short side of the stadium is a stage. *aa* will perform @ this stage. so cute, got steamed bun deco.

opposite side of the audience. and on the field, the games hv prepared a big feast for the athletes which is a way taiwanese treat their guests...also a way to show atletes fm other country abt traditions in taiwan

五月天's 十年后的第一天

wow, again im so out-dated on my posts... haha.. was too busy and too lazy sth. and did i tell u i moved house during 五月天 last visit to sg earlier this year... and on this day i moved house again. hahaha... wat a coincidence.

concert merc was almost sold out on the 2nd day.. which was sold most of them on 1st nite. cos this pic is taken 6+ on 2nd day. most of the popular items are gone. lucky we hv ordered them via FC so we dun hv to q.

this is the most funny part, tat i still laugh until today. during the LOVE game (today is bored and we played n times, we still hv fun... haha) our side is actually masa's 'O', and the left side block is mon's 'L'.

but when mon start to 'L' our block get so excited and followed him. mon shhh us cos we are not suppose to follow him. masa then point @ our block and ask us not to move if not will hit us. hahahaha.. they are sooooo funny..

~ the concert is really very high... after 1st nite, my legs was aching but after 2 nites my legs was in pain.... i was limping my way thru for the next 2days.... hahahaha....

~ in the next 2weeks im leaving for my green taipei trip, but i can't seem to get out of the blue world.. hahaha.. to avoid seeing aything blue.. i even chg my ofc screen to green.. haha... very bo liao...
